CAE SimuFlite Falcon 7X training program on track

Orlando, November 8, 2005 --

(NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) – CAE is making strides in the development of its training program for Dassault’s Falcon 7X business aircraft, having achieved key milestones in the manufacturing of the simulators, the development of the training program, the appointment of key staff members, and the construction of a new business aviation training center in Morristown, New Jersey.

In 2004, CAE was designated the exclusive provider of entitlement training for pilots, maintenance and cabin crew for the Dassault Falcon 7X, the first fly-by-wire business jet. As part of that program, CAE is developing two Falcon 7X full-flight simulators as well as a comprehensive training program incorporating CAE Simfinity™ technology and self-paced learning.

The first Falcon 7X full-flight simulator has been manufactured, and is currently in its Integration Phase, where hardware and software are brought together, at CAE’s Montreal plant. Meanwhile, recently appointed Subject Matter Expert Matt Crary has started working on developing the training program.

In an additional important step, CAE has created a Falcon 7X Training Advisory Board with representation by Dassault, CAE and various business aircraft operators. The first official board meetings are scheduled to take place both in the U.S. and in Europe in early 2006.

The construction of CAE’s new training center in Morristown, New Jersey, is progressing, with ground having been broken at the construction site earlier this fall. The new center is expected to be operational by the end of 2006, when the first Falcon 7X customers will be welcomed.

CAE’s center in Burgess Hill, U.K., is to be the future site for Falcon 7X training in Europe.
