Two more simulators certified in CAE's global training centre network

Montreal, March 31, 2005 --

(NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - Two more simulators built by CAE and deployed within the company's global network of training centres have received Level-D certification -- the highest level performance rating for flight training equipment -- by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

Pilots of LAN Chile and third-party customers began training on an Airbus A320 full-flight simulator located in Santiago, Chile, following the simulator's certification in January of this year. The A320 device is part of the Airbus-CAE training cooperation, which operates the largest fleet of Airbus full-flight simulators in the world.

Meanwhile, business jet pilots can begin training on an additional Raytheon Beechjet 400A simulator recently granted Level-D certification at the CAE SimuFlite training centre in Dallas, Texas.

CAE's global network of training centres has more than 100 full-flight simulators in service, in over 20 locations worldwide

CAE is a leading provider of simulation and modelling technologies as well as integrated training services for commercial and business aviation, and defence customers worldwide. The company has annual revenues of approximately C$1 billion, with operations and training facilities in 17 countries on five continents.
