CAE SimuFlite Signs Training Contract with Skyservice

CALGARY, July 9, 2003 --

(NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE SimuFlite and Skyservice Aviation have signed a multi-year contract for pilot training at CAE SimuFlite’s Dallas/Fort Worth centre.

Skyservice pilots will train on a variety of business aircraft platforms: Challenger 601, Learjet 35/36, Gulfstream II; Falcon 50; Hawker 700, 800; Citation I, II, III; and the KingAir 350.

CAE SimuFlite instructors will provide Skyservice pilots with the complete range of pilot training, from ground school instruction through to full-flight simulator training.

“This contract complements our maintenance contract which is currently entering into its second year. CAE SimuFlite is the only centre able to offer us tailored simulator training on such a wide variety of business aircraft types,” said B.C. Campbell, Skyservice Aviation’s director of flight operations. “The service is convenient and cost-effective because we don’t have pilots going all over the world to train; everything we need is at CAE SimuFlite through a single point of contact with a simplified pay-as-we-train philosophy.”

At 411,000-sq.ft., CAE SimuFlite is the largest business aviation training facility in the world. It has 36 simulator bays, offering pilot training on more than 30 aircraft types. Most recently, it began offering training on the Sikorsky S-76 and plans to add a Falcon 900 at the end of August.

Skyservice Aviation (www.skyservice.com) owns or operates more than 30 corporate aircraft and is the largest corporate flight department in Canada. The maintenance department maintains more than 50 aircraft, encompassing 18 types. Skyservice Business Aviation Services provides the full range of aviation services and support from its modern fixed-base operation (FBO) facilities in Montréal and Toronto.

CAE is a leading provider of integrated training solutions and advanced simulation and controls technologies to civil aviation, military and marine customers. The company generates annual revenues in excess of C$1 billion and employs more than 6,000 people in Canada, the United States and around the globe.
