CAE SimuFlite Offers
New Gulfstream Levelized Maintenance Training
DALLAS/FT.
WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, September 10, 2002 --
CAE SimuFlite now
offers a new levelized approach to its Gulfstream IV maintenance training
program.
The new format, using
ATA and NBAA guidelines, offers different levels of training programs
depending on the experience of the technician. At the request of CAE SimuFlite
clients, training classes have been shortened to a maximum of 10 days
for initial training levels and five days for recurrent programs.
“We have made
these changes as a direct result of the voice of the customer,”
said Tom Stelter, vice president, specialized operations. “This
shorter class format minimizes the amount of time technicians are away
from their flight departments.”
The levelized training
program was developed through the PACT training program. CAE SimuFlite
and Gulfstream participate in this program in which representatives of
both companies work together to jointly develop and deliver technical
training programs for the Gulfstream IV.
The Professionally
Applied Client Technical (PACT) training agreement ensures that clients’
training needs and expectations are met and the manufacturer's requirements
and standards are satisfied.
CAE SimuFlite, a part
