Europe’s
Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Award TRTO Approval to CAE SimuFlite’s
Pilot Training Programs

CAE SimuFlite announced
today it has earned Europe’s Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) approval
as a Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) for the following pilot
training programs:
BAE/Raytheon 125
Canadair CL600/601
Cessna 500/550/560 Citation I/II/V/Bravo/Ultra
Cessna 560XL Citation Excel
Cessna 650 Citation III/VI/VII
Dassault Falcon 10/100
Dassault Falcon 20/200
Dassault Falcon 50
Gulfstream II/III
Gulfstream IV
Gulfstream V
Learjet 20/30 Series
As a result of the
TRTO approval, European operators receive JAA-compliant training at CAE
SimuFlite and can receive type ratings approved by the JAA. “This
brings even more value to CAE SimuFlite’s services for our European
clients,” said CAE SimuFlite president Jeff Roberts. “We look
forward to welcoming European-based clients governed by these regulations.”
As approved by the
United Kingdom's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), CAE SimuFlite’s
training courses satisfy the requirements set forth in CAP 682 (approval
requirements for an aircraft type rating course) and Joint Aviation Regulations-Flight
Crew Licensing (JAR-FCL) 1.261. Each course provides integrated ground
school, simulator and aircraft training.
