CAE SimuFlite Completes
Construction of New 70,000 Square Foot Training Wing
DALLAS/FT.
WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, September 10, 2002 --
CAE SimuFlite has
completed construction of a new 70,000 square foot wing, the third major
expansion of CAE SimuFlite’s Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
training center in six years. The new 70,000 square-foot north wing contains
six simulator bays, additional classrooms and office space.
“CAE SimuFlite
is the world’s largest business aviation training center,”
said Jeff Roberts, CAE SimuFlite president. “This centralized location
now offers an even wider mix of client-requested aircraft programs while
maintaining the industry’s highest standards of training.”
With the expansion,
the CAE SimuFlite Dallas Center now houses 36 simulators in a 411,000
square foot facility. In the expanded facility, 30 simulators are operated
by CAE SimuFlite, and six are operated by Bombardier Aerospace.
The new wing is designed
to allow further expansion with additional simulator bays, classrooms
and support services.
