CAE SimuFlite Premiers
Boeing Business Jet Training Program with CAE Simfinity™ Technology
DALLAS/FT.
WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, September 10, 2002 --
CAE SimuFlite has
inaugurated the use of CAE’s high fidelity, Simfinity™ technology
with its new training program for the Boeing Business Jet.
Simfinity™
is the only interactive training solution that uses CAE's world-leading
simulation technology. Simfinity™ is transforming aviation training
by offering integrated, efficient and cost-effective solutions to teach
system knowledge and procedural skills during ground school.
CAE SimuFlite will also incorporate the SimfinityTM Integrated Procedure
Trainer (IPT), which enhances the learning experience by offering a 3D
environment to practice cockpit scanning flows, FMS and avionics familiarization.
IPT makes simulator sessions more productive.
“This new technology will change the experience a client has with
us,” said Jeff Roberts, president, CAE SimuFlite. “Instructor-led
classes will offer limitless, interactive, real life scenarios using new
technology that replicates the aircraft, all of which reinforces our philosophy
of ‘train like you fly, fly like you train.’”
The simulator training
portion of the program is conducted in a CAE-manufactured Boeing 737-NG
full flight simulator located at nearby CAE Dallas training center. The
Level D FFS features CAE’s Maxvue™ Plus 2000 enhanced visual
system.
CAE SimuFlite, a part
of CAE’s Civil Simulation and Training Division, provides advanced
training to pilots and maintenance professionals operating piston and
turbine-powered aircraft in private, corporate, military and government
service.
