CAE SimuFlite Scholarship
Winner Completes Citation Training
DALLAS/FORT
WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, June 5, 2002 --
The first 2002 scholarship
winner has completed training at CAE SimuFlite’s Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport training center.
Beth Harris, Fayetteville,
Ark., earned a Cessna Citation II type rating after successfully completing
CAE SimuFlite’s 13-day Citation II Initial training.
Harris received her CAE SimuFlite scholarship through Women in Aviation
International (WAI), an organization founded to encourage women to seek
opportunities in aviation. She is currently a certified flight instructor
in the Houston area.
CAE SimuFlite’s scholarship program is designed to promote business
aviation to young aviators nationwide. CAE SimuFlite will award six Citation
pilot training scholarships this year. In the past 15 years, CAE SimuFlite
has awarded scholarships valued at nearly $1 million.
