CAE SimuFliteAdds King Air 300/350 Simulator Training

DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, April 25, 2002 --

CAE SimuFlite's King Air 300/350 full flight simulator has received FAA Level D qualification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The simulator is located at CAE SimuFlite's Dallas/Fort Worth International airport training center, the largest business aviation training center in the world.

The King Air 300/350 simulator is equipped with Collins Pro Line II Avionics, 5-tube, EFIS-85B(14), BF Goodrich AI-804 Standby Attitude Indicator, and a UNS-1K Flight Management System. The simulator also features TCAS II and EGPWS. The visual system is an Evans & Sutherland ESIG-3350, offering a panoramic horizontal view of 180 degrees.

With the addition of the King Air 300/350, CAE SimuFlite now has a total of five simulators for Raytheon aircraft: the King Air 200, King Air 300/350, Hawker 700, Hawker 800/1000, and the Beechjet. One additional Raytheon Level D device, the Hawker 800XP simulator will be brought online late 2002.
