GE Capital SimuFlite's 2001 simulator fleet expansion continues on schedule.
Three simulators were brought on line this year: Gulfstream V, Citation
Ultra/Bravo and Citation Excel. Two additional simulators are scheduled
to arrive by the end of the year: Beechjet 400A and King Air 350.
Three more simulators are scheduled to arrive in 2002: CitationJet, Hawker
800XP and Sikorsky S-76, which will be SimuFlite's first helicopter simulator.
Two additional simulators are on order for arrival in the first quarter
of 2003: Falcon 900B/C/EX and Falcon 2000.
Each will be certified as FAA Level D. All training programs will be
approved under FAA CFR Part 142 and submitted for JAA TRTO approvals.
CAE, Montreal, manufactured the Gulfstream V, Citation Ultra/Bravo, and
Citation Excel simulators, and will also provide the Hawker 800XP and
Sikorsky S-76. NLX Corporation, Sterling, Va., will manufacture the Beechjet
400A, King Air 350, and CitationJet. Thales, Crawley, West Sussex, U.K.,
will manufacture the Falcon 900B/C/EX and Falcon 2000 simulators.
