SimuFlite Names New Director of Marketing

DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, Sept. 5, 2001 --

SimuFlite Training International Inc. has appointed Marjorie K. DeLong as director, marketing. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading all product development and marketing strategies. DeLong will also work with the sales and training delivery organizations within the company to balance new growth opportunities with the management of core business.

DeLong was most recently manager, marketing and sales for the Americas for GE Capital Aviation Training (GECAT), responsible for sales and business development for North and South America. DeLong previously worked at SimuFlite from 1990 to 2000, when she transferred to GECAT. At SimuFlite, she held positions of increasing responsibility that included posts as account representative, regional sales manager, and senior manager, sales.

DeLong holds a bachelor's of science in aviation administration from Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

DeLong is based at SimuFlite's headquarters at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas. She reports to SimuFlite president Jeff Roberts.

SimuFlite Training International Inc., the business aviation division of GE Capital Aviation Training, provides advanced training to pilots and maintenance professionals operating turbine-powered aircraft in corporate, military and government service.
