| SimuFlite Earns JAA TRTO Approval DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, April 30, 2001 -- SimuFlite Training International has earned Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) approval on five pilot training programs: Challenger 601, Falcon 50, Gulfstream IV, Hawker 700 and Learjet 35/36 with its remaining programs scheduled for approval by the end of 2001. European operators who train at SimuFlite can receive a type rating approved by the JAA TRTO. As approved by the United Kingdom's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the courses satisfy the requirements laid down in CAP 682 (requirement for the approval of an aircraft type rating course) and Joint Aviation Regulations-Flight Crew Licensing (JAR-FCL) 1.261. Each course provides integrated ground school, simulator and aircraft training. At the completion of ground school and simulator training at SimuFlite, the operator returns to his home country to complete a minimum number of in-aircraft landings with a JAA examiner present. "We are pleased that we can now offer JAA TRTO approved training," said SimuFlite president Jeff Roberts. "We look forward to welcoming our European-based clients who are governed by these regulations."
