SimuFlite Offers Aviation Art Screen Saver

DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, April 4, 2001 --

SimuFlite Training International Inc. now offers a rolling screen saver featuring award-winning aviation paintings. The artwork is from last year’s annual Horizons of Flight Exhibition, which is cosponsored by SimuFlite and Flying magazine.

The screen saver can be downloaded at no charge from the main page of SimuFlite’s Web site, http://www.simuflite.com. Paintings include "Bottom of the First" by James Dietz, Seattle, which received the Best of Show award. It depicts a U.S. bomber squadron based in the Philippines at the outbreak of World War II.

Also included is "Potomac Approach" by Paul Rendel, Upper St. Clair, Pa. It received The SimuFlite Award, for the work of art best representing business aviation.

The remaining paintings featured in the SimuFlite screen saver received Awards of Merit: "Kamikaze" by Marii Chernev, Bulgaria; "Cruisin’ on 66" by Alex Durr, Fort Worth, Texas; "A Critical Eye" by Michael Flahault, Montreal; "LZ-1 at Bodensee – 1900" by John Sarsfield, Longmont, Colo.; and "B-24 Liberator from the 15th AF" by Daniel Witkoff, Fallbrook, Calif.
