SimuFlite Announces
Scholarship Winners

WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas, April 4, 2001 --
SimuFlite Training
International Inc. has announced the winners of SimuFlite training scholarships
awarded through Women in Aviation International.
Leslie W. Carlisle,
Miami, received a Citation initial pilot training scholarship and Denise
A. Waters, New York, received a Citation initial maintenance training
scholarship. Upon successful completion of training at SimuFlites
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport training center this summer, Carlisle
will receive a Citation type rating and Waters will receive a certificate
of completion. The awards were announced at Women In Aviations annual
conference last month.
Five more recipients
of Citation initial pilot training scholarships will be announced in May.
Four will be awarded through the University Aviation Association, an alliance
of more than 100 accredited colleges and universities, and one will be
awarded through The Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Museum, a non-profit
group founded to motivate young African-Americans and assist in their
career pursuits. SimuFlite has awarded scholarships in the past 14 years
valued at nearly $1 million to promote business aviation as a career choice
for young aviators.
SimuFlite Training
International Inc., the business aviation division of GE Capital Aviation
Training, provides advanced training to pilots and maintenance professionals
operating turbine-powered aircraft in corporate, military and government
service.
