Horizons of Flight

CAE SimuFlite and FLYING magazine jointly sponsor the annual Horizons of Flight Aviation Art Exhibition and Competition, a juried aviation art show which was first held in 1993. This year celebrates the 13th annual competition.

Horizons of Flight was created to support aviation artists and to give the public an opportunity to view their work. Selected works are displayed at CAE SimuFlite's Dallas/Fort Worth training center. In addition to the general public, the show is seen each week by hundreds of pilots and maintenance technicians who train at CAE SimuFlite.

FLYING magazine also features selected works from the show in its publication.

Awards are presented to Best of Show; to the work best depicting a business aviation theme; and to the work best depicting women in an aviation maintenance setting. Awards of merit are also presented.

Entries for the 2006 Horizons of Flight Exhibition and Competition are currently being accepted. The entry form, rules and eligibility requirements are now available. The entry form can be returned by mail or email. For additional information, contact Margie Badyna, margie.badyna@cae.com, 972-456-8320.
